Most of us drink tea.
And many drink tea bags. But few people know that there are many great ways to reuse used tea bags.
So, what a used or dry tea bag is capable of:
1. Relieves pain.
Do you suffer from mosquito bites, itching, or bruising? Allow the used tea bag to cool and place it on the painful area. The substances in tea constrict blood vessels and relieve swelling.
2. Reduces swelling.
In the morning, put the tea bags in the refrigerator, and when they are cooled, put them under your eyes for 10 minutes. Cold and tannin (the tea version of caffeine) stimulates blood flow to the thin skin under the eyes, and reduces swelling or swelling.
3. Removes the smell of sweat.
Put the dry packets in your shoes and let them sit overnight. The smell of sweat will disappear completely the next day!
4. Interrupts the smell in the refrigerator.
Put a bowl of old, used tea bags in the refrigerator, and they will absorb odors better than soda and activated charcoal.
5. Removes warts.
Take the used tea bag after it has cooled down and place it on the wart. After 15 minutes, remove the tea bag and replace it with a new one. Leave the second one for another 15 minutes. Then wait a few days and your wart will fall off.
6. Helps with sunburn…
Black tea contains tannic acid, which helps the skin heal faster and provides a long-lasting feeling of coolness.
7. … and from minor burns in the kitchen.
If you accidentally burn yourself, apply one of the tea bags from the refrigerator to the affected skin. The tannins in black tea relieve the pain of minor burns.
8. Prevents plant diseases.
The tannins found in tea lower the pH in the soil, which inhibits the growth of fungi around the roots of plants. So when you plant new plants in the garden, put the tea bag (or tea leaves) in the soil near their roots and expect great results.
9. Removes stubborn dirt and grease from dishes.
Just add a few tea bags to the water where the dishes are soaked. Stains and grease will come off without much difficulty.
10. Cleans mirrors.
A shiny bathroom mirror is always a good idea. And using tea bags for cleaning means you’ll get brilliant results without much effort. Brew one or more cups of tea, let the tea cool and dip a cleaning cloth into it. Cleaning has never smelled so good!
11. Removes unpleasant odor from hands.
Have you just chopped onions, fish, or maybe hot peppers? Will your hands smell for hours, even after you wash your hands a couple of times? Try washing your hands with a tea bag. Like stinky shoes, tea bags absorb odor easily.
12. Repels mice.
Hide used tea bags in cabinets, cellars and other places where mice visit. They hate the smell of tea.
Now you definitely won’t throw away your used tea bags!
